The 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring Ella Bouton for her remarkable achievement as the 2026 Division IV State Track and Field Champion in the shot put. A senior at Fredericktown High School, Ella demonstrated exceptional talent and sportsmanship, culminating in her winning first place at the state meet with a school-record throw of 46 feet. Her dedication to the sport and her commitment to excellence have not only brought her personal success but have also made her a source of pride for her family, teammates, coaches, school, and community.
