The House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring Ava Schmitmeyer for her outstanding achievement as the 2026 Division IV State Track and Field Champion in pole vaulting. As a junior at Coldwater High School, Ava demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and sportsmanship, culminating in her winning first place at the Division IV State Meet with a remarkable vault of 12 feet, 8 inches.
