The House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring Thomas Lathrop for his outstanding achievement as a 2026 OHSAA Division II State Champion in swimming. Lathrop secured first place in the 500-yard freestyle with a remarkable time of 4:33.46 and also earned second place in the 200-yard individual medley at the state championship meet. His dedication, talent, and sportsmanship have made him a standout member of the Ottawa Hills High School boys swimming team, reflecting positively on his family, teammates, coach, school, and community.
