The House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring Brooklyn Talley for her outstanding achievements as a swimmer. As a freshman at Archbishop Carroll High School, Talley showcased her talent and dedication by winning first place in the 100-yard freestyle at the 2026 Division II State Meet with a time of 51.12 seconds, as well as securing second place in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:50.83. Her accomplishments reflect not only her personal commitment to excellence but also serve as a source of pride for her family, teammates, coaches, and school community.

The resolution emphasizes the importance of athletic competition in the education of young people and commends Talley for her exemplary season and leadership both in and out of the pool. The members of the House extend their best wishes for her continued success and recognize the valuable life skills she has gained through her participation in swimming.
