The Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring the Southview Middle School eighth-grade boys basketball team for winning the 2026 State Championship. The team, comprised of talented athletes including Antonio Kimbrough, Lovell Morris, and others, achieved an impressive perfect season with a 16-0 record, showcasing their dedication, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. Their success in both the Greater Cleveland Conference and State championships reflects not only their hard work but also the support and guidance of their coaches, Head Coach Doug Taylor and Assistant Coach Aaron Frazier.
