The House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring MaKenzie Love for her outstanding achievement as the 2025 National Braille Challenge Champion. MaKenzie, a graduate of Teays Valley High School, excelled in the varsity division of the competition, earning first place and receiving the Harley Fetterman Award for Excellence in Charts and Graphs. Her accomplishments reflect her intelligence, integrity, and determination, as she has consistently set high personal goals and demonstrated initiative in overcoming challenges.

The resolution commends MaKenzie for her exemplary record, which includes being a five-time Ohio Braille Challenge winner and a four-time National Braille Challenge finalist, as well as receiving various prestigious scholarships.
