The House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring Kameron Nelson for his outstanding achievements at the 2025 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships. Nelson, a student-athlete at The Ohio State University, won the gold medal in the vault with an impressive score of 14.633 and also secured a third-place finish on the floor with a score of 14.533. His accomplishments mark him as the first Buckeye gymnast to win a national event title since 2019 and the first gymnast globally to successfully perform two triple backs in a single floor routine during competition.
