The Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring the Elyria Middle School robotics team, known as The Fantastic Four, for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2025 Ohio VEXIQ Robotics Competition Championship. The team, comprised of seventh-grade students Chuckie Hood, Trenton Csata, Zack Bickley, and Jayden Jordan, demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication by designing, engineering, and programming a robot to successfully complete competition tasks. Their efforts not only earned them the championship title but also the Middle School IQ Sportsmanship Award and a spot at the VEX World Championship.
The resolution commends the hard work and determination of the team members, their coaches Jenn Smith and Jeannine Stape, and program lead Mike West, highlighting the pride their accomplishments bring to their families and the broader community.
