The Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring the Elyria Middle School robotics team, known as The Fantastic Four, for their outstanding achievement in winning the 2025 Ohio VEXIQ Robotics Competition Championship. The team, comprised of seventh-grade students Chuckie Hood, Trenton Csata, Zack Bickley, and Jayden Jordan, demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication by designing, engineering, and programming a robot to successfully complete various tasks. Their efforts not only earned them the championship title but also the Middle School IQ Sportsmanship Award and a spot at the VEX World Championship.

The resolution highlights the determination and motivation displayed by the team members, which has garnered them respect and admiration from their community, families, and coaches, Jenn Smith and Jeannine Stape, as well as program lead Mike West. The Senate expresses confidence that the skills and experiences gained through their participation in robotics competitions will serve the students well in future challenges.
