The House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring Heritage Hill Farm on its 200th anniversary. Established in 1825 by John E. Brubaker and now in its sixth generation of family ownership, the farm has expanded its operations to include a variety of crops such as dairy, corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, rye, and alfalfa. In 2002, Heritage Hill Farm undertook a significant reforestation project, planting 30,000 native hardwood trees to enhance the quality of its land and has collaborated with regional state foresters to improve surrounding forests.
The resolution commends the farm's owner, David Charles Winger, and all those associated with Heritage Hill Farm for their commitment to high standards in agriculture and their positive contributions to the community. The House expresses confidence in the farm's continued success and dedication to excellence, recognizing it as a valuable Ohio endeavor. The resolution concludes with a directive for the Clerk of the House to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Heritage Hill Farm.
