The House of Representatives of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring Heritage Hill Farm on its 200th anniversary. Established in 1825 by John E. Brubaker and now operated by the sixth generation of his family, the farm has expanded its agricultural operations to include dairy, corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, rye, and alfalfa. In 2002, the farm undertook a significant reforestation project, planting 30,000 native hardwood trees, and has collaborated with regional state foresters to enhance the surrounding forests. This dedication to sustainable practices and community improvement highlights the farm's exemplary role in the agricultural industry.

The resolution commends the owner, David Charles Winger, and all those associated with Heritage Hill Farm for their commitment to high standards in agriculture and their contributions to the Mansfield community. The House expresses confidence that the farm will continue to thrive and uphold its tradition of excellence. In recognition of this milestone, the resolution congratulates Heritage Hill Farm and acknowledges its significant impact on the local farming landscape, ensuring its legacy will endure for future generations. A copy of the resolution will be transmitted to Heritage Hill Farm as a formal acknowledgment of this achievement.
