The Senate of the 136th General Assembly of Ohio has adopted a resolution honoring the Upper Arlington High School ice hockey team for winning the 2025 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championship. This victory marks a significant achievement as it is the first state title in the program's history. The team, known as the Golden Bears, showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship throughout the season, culminating in a 5-2 victory over St. Ignatius and finishing with an impressive record of 29 wins, 6 losses, and 2 ties.
