                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring St. Peter Catholic Church on its
              Sesquicentennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to St. Peter           2
Catholic Church on the hallowed occasion of its One Hundred Fiftieth     3
Anniversary; and                                                         4
     WHEREAS, Since its inception, St. Peter Catholic Church has         5
offered its congregation the pathway to a more meaningful life by        6
illuminating and demonstrating the precepts on which the church was      7
founded. The spirit of love and Christian fellowship that exists among   8
the parishioners not only prevails within the church edifice itself      9
but also extends beyond those sacred walls to touch the lives of         10
everyone encountered by these devout disciples; and                      11
     WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of its pastor, the Reverend   12
Bob Franco, and his predecessors, St. Peter Catholic Church has          13
experienced continual growth and has provided a source of moral          14
guidance and spiritual motivation for each of its members. Over the      15
years, the church has enhanced the quality of life within North          16
Ridgeville and the surrounding area, and through its generous efforts,   17
it has earned the gratitude and respect of the many citizens it has so   18
capably served; and                                                      19
     WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone which   20
represents dedication and commitment. For a century and a half, the      21
members of St. Peter Catholic Church have kept their faith alive in      22
the community, and on this special anniversary, the congregation has     23
accepted the challenge of carrying its beliefs into the future;          24

As Introduced
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General     26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate St. Peter      27
Catholic Church on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary and pay            28
tribute to all those joining in the celebration of this joyous event;      29
and be it further                                                          30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                31
authenticated copy of this Resolution to St. Peter Catholic Church.        32
