                          A RESOLUTION
             Honoring Senator Robert D. Hackett for outstanding
                service to the Ohio Senate.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly             1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Senator Robert D.            2
Hackett for his loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and                             3
     WHEREAS, Throughout his distinguished tenure as a member of the              4
Ohio Senate, Bob Hackett has demonstrated dedication to performing his            5
duties and fulfilling his responsibilities with efficiency and                    6
competence. Representing the 10th District, he has shared with the                7
chamber a wealth of experience gained as the founder of Central Ohio              8
Financial Management Group, LLC, and a commissioner for Madison                   9
County, and he has served as chair of the Insurance Committee and a               10
member of the Financial Institutions and Technology, Health,                      11
Transportation, and Rules and Reference committees. With determination            12
and resolve, he has brought his talents to bear on the ever-changing              13
needs and issues of the Ohio General Assembly; and                                14
     WHEREAS, Bob Hackett has given willingly of his time and energy              15
and has displayed a genuine commitment to improving the quality of                16
life in our society. His love for Ohio and his sincere desire to serve            17
its people have shown him to be a concerned and responsible public                18
servant, and we are proud to note that it is through the efforts of               19
individuals such as he that our state and nation continue to grow and             20

prosper; and                                                               21
     WHEREAS, Election to public office is one of the highest honors       22
that the people in a democracy can bestow upon a fellow citizen.           23
Throughout his service as a member of the Ohio Senate, Bob Hackett has     24
maintained a high degree of achievement and has earned the respect and     25
admiration of colleagues on both sides of the political aisle. Whether     26
engaged in floor debate or in committee deliberations, he has brought      27
a full measure of enthusiasm, intelligence, and public spirit to his       28
duties and has served his constituents and the Great State of Ohio;        29
therefore be it                                                            30
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General     31
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Senator Robert      32
D. Hackett on his service to the Ohio Senate and offer best wishes for     33
happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be it further          34
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                35
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Senator Robert D. Hackett.        36
