A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Marion L. Steele High School cheer team as the 2024
Division I & II OHSCCA Non-Building Best in the State Grand Champion.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Marion L. Steele 2
High School cheer team on winning the 2024 Division I & II Ohio High 3
School Cheerleading Coaches Association Non-Building Best in the State 4
Championship; and 5
WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the 6
Marion L. Steele High School cheer team have combined talent and 7
spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish 8
themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable 9
dedication, the Comets have worked diligently toward attaining 10
ultimate proficiency in their sport, and as a result, they earned this 11
year’s OHSCCA Non-Building Best in the State Championship and were 12
named the Grand Champions of Division I and Division II; and 13
WHEREAS, The Comets’ achievements and leadership are a justifiable 14
source of pride and an excellent reflection on the cheerleaders, their 15
families, their school, their community, and their coach, Lauren 16
Glowacki. In leading her team to victory, Coach Glowacki has not only 17
helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest but also 18
instilled in them a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and 19
camaraderie; and 20
WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role 21
in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay 22
tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coach for a 23
job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have 24
gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in 25
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it 26

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 28
congratulate the Marion L. Steele High School cheer team on its 29
tremendous season and salute the members and coach as some of Ohio’s 30
finest citizens; and be it further 31
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Marion L. Steele 33
High School cheer team. 34
