A RESOLUTION
In memory of Jerry W. Krupinski.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to offer our deepest sympathy to 2
the family and many friends of Jerry W. Krupinski on the sorrowful 3
occasion of his death; and 4
WHEREAS, Jerry Krupinski will be remembered fondly by all those 5
who knew him, and his absence will leave an irreparable void in our 6
society. A former coal miner for the Y&O Coal Company who went on to 7
spend time in the insurance industry, he excelled as a public 8
official, serving as a commissioner for Jefferson County for six years 9
and as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for fourteen 10
years, representing the 98th District, and his tremendous experience 11
and devotion to duty gained him the appreciation of his colleagues and 12

constituents alike; and 13
WHEREAS, Jerry Krupinski’s passion for community service was 14
always evident in his own approach to life. He was active with the 15
Knights of Columbus, the Jefferson County Democratic Executive 16
Committee, and Holy Family Catholic Church. He was admired by his 17
fellow citizens, friends, and family for his positive philosophy of 18
life, and he inspired countless Ohioans to dedicate themselves to 19
public service; and 20
WHEREAS, In numerous roles, Jerry Krupinski led an exemplary life, 21
demonstrating an unwavering commitment to improving the quality of our 22
society, and he extended warmth and understanding to others, including 23
his wife, Eileen, who also served as a member of the Ohio House of 24
Representatives, his children, Scott, Todd, and Erin, and his many 25
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Most assuredly, the State of 26
Ohio has benefited exponentially from his work, and he will be 27
remembered for his visionary example of citizenship; therefore be it 28
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 29
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay 30
tribute to the memory of a truly honorable man, Jerry W. Krupinski; 31
and be it further 32
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to family of Jerry W. 34
Krupinski. 35
