A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Ohio Fair Managers Association
on the One Hundredth Anniversary of its convention.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Ohio Fair Managers 2
Association on its One Hundredth Annual Convention, January 2-5, 2025; 3
and 4
WHEREAS, Representing ninety-five fairs in Ohio, the Ohio Fair 5
Managers Association has consistently demonstrated exemplary 6
professionalism and expertise, as well as an unwavering commitment to 7
maintaining the highest ideals of service. For a century, the 8
organization and its members have taken part in its convention with 9
the purpose of promoting our state’s agricultural fairs, shows, and 10
expositions, and it has more than lived up to its goals and 11
principles; and 12
WHEREAS, Due to the tremendous effort and initiative it has 13
displayed, the Ohio Fair Managers Association has grown significantly 14
during the past century, and this noteworthy organization is certainly 15
deserving of high praise. This special anniversary offers a unique 16
opportunity to reflect on the association’s tradition of success and 17
to look with optimism to the years ahead; and 18
WHEREAS, It is not surprising that the Ohio Fair Managers 19
Association has achieved widespread recognition, for it has far 20
surpassed the expectations of its founding members and their 21
communities. Indeed, it exemplifies the essence of our state, and 22
through its tireless support of our county, independent, and state 23
fairs, it has not only encouraged cooperation but has also set the 24
standard to which other such bodies can aspire; therefore be it 25

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 27
congratulate the Ohio Fair Managers Association on the occasion of its 28
One Hundredth Anniversary and offer best wishes for the future; and be 29
it further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ohio Fair Managers 32
Association. 33
