                       A RESOLUTION
           Honoring the Coldwater High School football team
         on securing the 2024 Division VI State Championship.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Coldwater High        2
School football team as the 2024 Division VI State Champion; and          3
     WHEREAS, The Coldwater High School football team is made up of       4
remarkable athletes who have worked diligently to showcase the            5
collective talents of their exceptional squad. At this year’s Division    6
VI State Championship, the Cavaliers won the state crown with a score     7
of 31-7, and the members amply demonstrated impressive determination,     8
maturity, and finesse in pursuit of this achievement; and                 9
     WHEREAS, This triumph reflects the staunch resolve of these young    10
individuals, and it signifies the acquisition of valuable experience      11
that is sure to benefit them in later life. Thanks to the tireless        12
efforts of an exceptional Coldwater High School football team coaching    13
staff, including Coach Chip Otten, as well as the support of their        14
Cavaliers community, these athletes have met the demands of an            15
extensive training regimen, and they have just cause for celebration;     16

     WHEREAS, All those who comprise the Coldwater High School football   18
team have set an excellent example of what a dedicated group of           19
athletes can achieve when guided by a committed coaching staff and        20
surrounded by loyal fans, sports families, and boosters. These young      21
competitors have certainly proven themselves to be dynamic athletic       22
leaders, and we are confident that as they meet future challenges,        23
they will take with them the valuable lessons they have gained through    24
their participation in football; therefore be it                          25

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           27
congratulate the Coldwater High School football team on its 2024           28
Division VI State Championship title and count its players and coaches     29
among the ranks of outstanding Ohioans; and be it further                  30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Coldwater High         32
School football team.                                                      33
