A RESOLUTION
Honoring Johnny’s Bar on Fulton on its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Johnny’s Bar on Fulton on the 2
auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and 3
WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting 4
tribute to Johnny’s Bar on Fulton, for throughout the past one hundred 5
years, this fine venture has attained a remarkable record of service 6
to the area. Founded as a grocery store, Louise’s Gardens, by Louise 7
Santosuosso in 1924 and soon becoming a restaurant, the venture was 8
twice sold and repurchased by her family during its history, and it is 9
currently owned by Louise’s grandson, Bo Santosuosso, with members of 10
the fourth generation now working there. It is truly worthy of 11
acknowledgement; and 12
WHEREAS, The success of Johnny’s Bar on Fulton is a justifiable 13
source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the business 14
itself but also on its astute management and on its hard-working 15
employees. Due to their tremendous vision and initiative, they have 16
helped this respected enterprise earn the gratitude and appreciation 17
of many satisfied customers, and they are deserving of high praise; 18
and 19
WHEREAS, Over the past century, Johnny’s Bar on Fulton has 20
enhanced the quality of life in our society. We are certain that as 21
this notable establishment maintains its unfaltering dedication to 22
service and achievement, it will continue to grow and prosper and will 23
uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark; 24
therefore be it 25
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 26
S. R. No. 505 Page 2
As Introduced
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Johnny’s Bar on 27
Fulton on its One Hundredth Anniversary and extend best wishes for the 28
future; and be it further 29
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Johnny’s Bar on Fulton. 31
