                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Mary Lee Tucker Clothe-A-Child Fund on its
              One Hundredth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Mary Lee Tucker Clothe-A-       2
Child Fund as it celebrates its One Hundredth Anniversary; and            3
     WHEREAS, This is, indeed, an important occasion, and it provides     4
an ideal time to acknowledge the exceptional work done by the Mary Lee    5
Tucker Clothe-A-Child Fund. Since its establishment in 1924 by Rhea       6
Soper Eddy, the foundation has allowed families facing financial          7
hardships to ensure their children are prepared for Ohio winters by       8
providing coats, gloves, hats, shirts, pants, and other necessary         9
seasonal gear, and its impressive contributions to the community          10
readily explain why it is so widely held in high esteem; and              11
     WHEREAS, All those associated with the Mary Lee Tucker Clothe-A-     12
Child Fund are to be commended for their foresight, dedication, and       13
selfless donations of time, energy, and ability far beyond what was       14
required or expected. These fine people have earned the respect and       15
admiration of many and have set an example of concerned and               16
responsible citizenship worthy of emulation; and                          17
     WHEREAS, Founded on the highest philanthropic ideals, the Mary Lee   18
Tucker Clothe-A-Child Fund has distinguished itself by its commitment     19
to excellence. Throughout its history, it has maintained a reputation     20
for integrity, reliability, and devotion to service, and the              21
charitable efforts of its volunteers are deserving of the highest         22
praise; therefore be it                                                   23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    24
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Mary      25

As Introduced
Lee Tucker Clothe-A-Child Fund on its Centennial and salute its staff      26
and volunteers as outstanding Ohioans; and be it further                   27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                28
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Mary Lee Tucker Clothe-A-     29
Child Fund.                                                                30
