A RESOLUTION
In memory of Barbara C. Pringle.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio wish to offer our deepest sympathy to the 2
family and many friends of Barbara C. Pringle on the sorrowful 3
occasion of her death; and 4
WHEREAS, Barbara Pringle will be remembered fondly by all those 5
who knew her, and her absence will leave an irreparable void in our 6
society. A former member of the Cleveland City Council, she served 7
eighteen years as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, 8
becoming respected as an advocate for the growth and progress of our 9
state and its people, and her tremendous experience as an elected 10
official and her devotion to duty gained her the appreciation of her 11
colleagues and constituents alike; and 12

WHEREAS, Barbara Pringle’s passion for community service was 13
always evident in her own approach to public life. She was admired by 14
her fellow citizens, friends, and family for her positive philosophy 15
of life, and she inspired countless Ohioans to dedicate themselves to 16
public service; and 17
WHEREAS, In numerous roles, Barbara Pringle led an exemplary life, 18
demonstrating an unwavering commitment to improving the quality of our 19
society, and she extended warmth and understanding to others, 20
including her husband, Darrell, her children, Rhonda and the late 21
Christopher, her grandchildren, Christopher, Leah, and Christina, and 22
her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Gavin, and Claire. Most 23
assuredly, the State of Ohio has benefited exponentially from her 24
work, and she will be remembered for her visionary example of 25
citizenship; therefore be it 26
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay 28
tribute to the memory of a truly honorable woman, Barbara C. Pringle; 29
and be it further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the family of Barbara 32
C. Pringle. 33
