                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Seton High School girls volleyball team as
              the 2024 Division I State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Seton High School girls          2
volleyball team on winning the 2024 Division I State Championship; and   3
     WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the   4
Seton High School girls volleyball team have combined talent and         5
spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish        6
themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable              7
dedication, the Saints have worked diligently toward attaining           8
ultimate proficiency in their sport, and as a result, they defeated a    9
tough St. Joseph Academy team by the scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-15 to    10
win this year’s Division I State Championship; and                       11
     WHEREAS, The Seton High School girls volleyball team’s              12
achievements and leadership are a justifiable source of pride and an     13
excellent reflection on the players, their families, their school,       14
their community, and their coach, Kelly Crowley. In leading her team     15
to victory, Coach Crowley has not only helped the athletes to develop    16
their talents to the fullest but also instilled in them a valuable       17
sense of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie; and               18
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   19
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased     20
to pay tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coach   21
for a job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have   22
gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in    23
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it                    24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    25

As Introduced
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Seton High      26
School girls volleyball team on its tremendous season and salute the       27
members and coach as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further     28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Seton High School girls       30
volleyball team.                                                           31
