A RESOLUTION
Honoring Senator Stephanie Kunze for outstanding service
to the Ohio Senate.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Senator Stephanie 2
Kunze for her loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and 3
WHEREAS, Throughout her distinguished tenure as a member of the 4
Ohio Senate, Stephanie Kunze has demonstrated dedication to performing 5
her duties and fulfilling her responsibilities with efficiency and 6
competence. Representing the 16th District, she has shared with the 7
chamber a wealth of experience gained as a member of the Hilliard City 8
Council and the Ohio House of Representatives, and she has served as 9
chair of the Transportation Committee and a member of the Select 10
Committee on Rail Safety and the Financial Institutions and 11
Technology, Insurance, Local Government, and Rules and Reference 12
committees. With determination and resolve, she has brought her 13
talents and experience to bear on the ever-changing needs and issues 14
of the Ohio General Assembly; and 15
WHEREAS, Stephanie Kunze has given willingly of her time and 16
energy and has displayed a genuine commitment to improving the quality 17
of life in our society. Her love for Ohio and her sincere desire to 18
serve its people have shown her to be a concerned and responsible 19
public servant, and we are proud to note that it is through the 20
efforts of individuals such as she that our state and nation continue 21

to grow and prosper; and 22
WHEREAS, Election to public office is one of the highest honors 23
that the people in a democracy can bestow upon a fellow citizen. 24
Throughout her service as a member of the Ohio Senate, Stephanie Kunze 25
has maintained a high degree of achievement and has earned the respect 26
and admiration of colleagues on both sides of the political aisle. 27
Whether engaged in floor debate or in committee deliberations, she has 28
brought a full measure of enthusiasm, intelligence, and public spirit 29
to her duties and has served her constituents and the Great State of 30
Ohio; therefore be it 31
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 32
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Senator 33
Stephanie Kunze on her service to the Ohio Senate and offer best 34
wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be it 35
further 36
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 37
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Senator Stephanie Kunze. 38
