A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Seton High School girls volleyball team
on winning the 2024 Division I State Championship.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Seton High 2
School girls volleyball team on securing the 2024 Division I State 3
Championship; and 4
WHEREAS, The talented Seton High School girls volleyball team is, 5
indeed, to be heartily commended for decisively earning this year’s 6
Division I State Championship by sweeping the St. Joseph Academy squad 7
in three straight sets to win the seventh state title in program 8
history. The team’s performance reflects the outstanding collective 9
effort by a gifted group of athletes, and without exception, it has 10
devoted countless hours to training and practice in order to ensure 11
peak conditioning. Clearly, this demanding regimen has paid handsome 12
dividends; and 13
WHEREAS, The members of the Seton High School girls volleyball 14
team have epitomized the power, poise, and precision that befit true 15
champions. Despite sometimes grueling pressure, the Saints 16
consistently maintained their composure and morale, exhibiting 17
strength, speed, stamina, and agility in every challenging encounter. 18
Time and again, they have risen to the occasion, amply demonstrating 19
their unflagging determination, and their impressive maturity and 20
finesse have earned them widespread respect, even among their most 21
formidable rivals; and 22
WHEREAS, By weathering a rigorous schedule and prevailing over a 23
host of adversaries, the members of the Seton High School girls 24

volleyball team have learned much about dedication, self-discipline, 25
leadership, and perseverance. Their first-place finish is a measure of 26
their stalwart commitment to the sport, and their indomitable spirit 27
has made their families, friends, and coaches incredibly proud; 28
therefore be it 29
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 30
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 31
applaud the Seton High School girls volleyball team on its brilliant 32
2024 season and wish its members and coaches continued success in 33
their future endeavors; and be it further 34
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 35
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Seton High School 36
girls volleyball team. 37
