A RESOLUTION
Honoring Dave Dobos
for his exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Dave Dobos for his 2
outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives; 3
and 4
WHEREAS, Dave Dobos is deserving of high praise for his dedicated 5
service to the 10th House District. An able steward to the State of 6
Ohio, he brought a wealth of experience to his post through his 7
endeavors as a small business owner, the president of the Columbus 8
City School Board and the Hilltop Business Association, and a member 9
of the Hilltop Historical Society, the West High School Alumni 10
Association, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alumni 11

Association Board of Directors. Indeed, he is a staunch supporter of 12
the well-being of his constituency and has sponsored into law various 13
bills in wide-ranging areas of interest; and 14
WHEREAS, Dave Dobos is an effectual ambassador for communities 15
throughout the Greater Columbus area, and he has combined civic 16
concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic 17
leader. In addition, he has been active with the Economic and 18
Workforce Development, Government Oversight, Insurance, Pensions, 19
Primary and Secondary Education, Technology and Innovation, and 20
Transportation committees as well as the Finance Subcommittee on 21
Primary and Secondary Education, and his sincerity and integrity have 22
distinguished him as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan; and 23
WHEREAS, Dave Dobos has been characterized by his ambition and 24
expertise, and he has earned not only the respect of those with whom 25
he has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens he has so capably 26
represented. As he reflects on his career with the Ohio House of 27
Representatives, he has the satisfaction of knowing that he has 28
established a record of personal and professional excellence that will 29
stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore 30

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 32
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 33
commend Dave Dobos as an esteemed Ohio Representative and extend best 34
wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be it 35
further 36
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 37
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Dave Dobos. 38
