                       A RESOLUTION
       Honoring the Coldwater High School girls volleyball team
                as the 2024 Division VI State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Coldwater        2
High School girls volleyball team on winning the 2024 Division VI         3
State Championship; and                                                   4
     WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the    5
Coldwater High School girls volleyball team have combined talent and      6
spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish         7
themselves as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable               8
dedication, the Cavaliers have worked diligently toward attaining         9
ultimate proficiency in volleyball, and as a result, they capped an       10
undefeated season with their first state championship; and                11
     WHEREAS, The Cavaliers’ achievements and leadership are a            12
justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the            13
players, their families, their school, their community, and their         14
coach, Nikki Etzler. In leading her team to victory, Coach Etzler has     15
not only helped the athletes to develop their talents to the fullest      16
but also instilled in them a valuable sense of determination,             17
perseverance, and camaraderie; and                                        18
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role    19
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased      20
to pay tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coach    21
for a job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have    22
gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in     23
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it                     24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     25

As Offered
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
commend the Coldwater High School girls volleyball team on its             27
tremendous season and salute the members and coach as some of Ohio’s       28
finest citizens; and be it further                                         29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     30
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Coldwater High         31
School girls volleyball team.                                              32
