A RESOLUTION
Honoring Jena Powell
for her exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Jena Powell for her 2
outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives; 3
and 4
WHEREAS, Jena Powell is deserving of high praise for her dedicated 5
service to the 80th House District. An able steward to the State of 6
Ohio, she brought a wealth of experience to her post through her 7
endeavors as a business owner. Indeed, she is a staunch supporter of 8
the well-being of her constituency and has sponsored into law various 9
bills in wide-ranging areas of interest; and 10
WHEREAS, Jena Powell is an effectual ambassador for communities 11

throughout Miami County and southern Darke County, and she has 12
combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to 13
become a dynamic leader. In addition, she has been active with the 14
Agriculture and Economic and Workforce Development committees, and her 15
sincerity and integrity have distinguished her as a conscientious and 16
hard-working Ohioan; and 17
WHEREAS, Jena Powell has been characterized by her ambition and 18
expertise, and she has earned not only the respect of those with whom 19
she has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens she has so 20
capably represented. As she reflects on her career with the Ohio House 21
of Representatives, she has the satisfaction of knowing that she has 22
established a record of personal and professional excellence that will 23
stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore 24

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 27
commend Jena Powell as an esteemed Ohio Representative and extend best 28
wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be it 29
further 30
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Jena Powell. 32
