A RESOLUTION
Honoring Gail K. Pavliga
for her exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Gail K. Pavliga for 2
her outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of 3
Representatives; and 4
WHEREAS, Gail Pavliga is deserving of high praise for her 5
dedicated service to the 72nd House District. An able steward to the 6
State of Ohio, she brought a wealth of experience to her post through 7
her endeavors as a college professor, a Sunday school teacher, a 8
Christian counselor and life coach at the Christian Counseling 9
Alliance, a volunteer family for the Alliance Area Ulster Project, and 10
a member of the Portage County Republican Women’s Club. Indeed, she is 11

a staunch supporter of the well-being of her constituency and has 12
sponsored into law various bills in wide-ranging areas of interest; 13
and 14
WHEREAS, Gail Pavliga is an effectual ambassador for communities 15
throughout Portage County, and she has combined civic concern and 16
commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader. In 17
addition, she has been active as chair of the Behavioral Health 18
Committee and a member of the Finance and Higher Education committees 19
and the Finance Subcommittee on Agriculture, Development, and Natural 20
Resources, and her sincerity and integrity have distinguished her as a 21
conscientious and hard-working Ohioan; and 22
WHEREAS, Gail Pavliga has been characterized by her ambition and 23
expertise, and she has earned not only the respect of those with whom 24
she has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens she has so 25
capably represented. As she reflects on her career with the Ohio House 26
of Representatives, she has the satisfaction of knowing that she has 27
established a record of personal and professional excellence that will 28
stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore 29

RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 31
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 32
commend Gail K. Pavliga as an esteemed Ohio Representative and extend 33
best wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be 34
it further 35
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 36
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Gail K. Pavliga. 37
