A RESOLUTION
Honoring P. Scott Lipps
for his exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize P. Scott Lipps for 2
his outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of 3
Representatives; and 4
WHEREAS, Scott Lipps is deserving of high praise for his dedicated 5
service to the 55th House District. An able steward to the State of 6
Ohio, he brought a wealth of experience to his post through his 7
endeavors as a businessman, a council member and mayor of the City of 8
Franklin, and a member of such organizations as Shriners 9
International, NFIB State Board, the Optimists and Rotary clubs, and 10
Farm Bureau. Indeed, he is a staunch supporter of the well-being of 11

his constituency and has sponsored into law various bills in wide- 12
ranging areas of interest; and 13
WHEREAS, Scott Lipps is an effectual ambassador for communities 14
throughout northern, eastern and southern portions of Warren County, 15
and he has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless 16
initiative to become a dynamic leader. In addition, he has been active 17
with the Families and Aging and Primary and Secondary Education 18
committees, and his sincerity and integrity have distinguished him as 19
a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan; and 20
WHEREAS, Scott Lipps has been characterized by his ambition and 21
expertise, and he has earned not only the respect of those with whom 22
he has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens he has so capably 23
represented. As he reflects on his career with the Ohio House of 24
Representatives, he has the satisfaction of knowing that he has 25
established a record of personal and professional excellence that will 26
stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore 27
be it 28
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 29
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 30
commend P. Scott Lipps as an esteemed Ohio Representative and extend 31
best wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be 32
it further 33
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 34
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to P. Scott Lipps. 35
