A RESOLUTION
Honoring Darrell D. Kick
for his exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Darrell D. Kick for 2
his outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of 3
Representatives; and 4
WHEREAS, Darrell Kick is deserving of high praise for his 5
dedicated service to the 98th House District. An able steward to the 6
State of Ohio, he brought a wealth of experience to his post through 7
his endeavors as a sixth-generation farmer, the owner of Mohican 8
Rentals, LLC, and West Side Realty Management, LLC, and a member of 9
such organizations as the Holmes County Farm Bureau, the Loudonville 10
Farmers Equity Board, and Ashland Cavalry Baptist. Indeed, he is a 11

staunch supporter of the well-being of his constituency and has 12
sponsored into law various bills in wide-ranging areas of interest; 13
and 14
WHEREAS, Darrell Kick is an effectual ambassador for communities 15
throughout Coshocton and Holmes counties and eastern Knox County, and 16
he has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative 17
to become a dynamic leader. In addition, he has been active with the 18
Agriculture, Armed Services and Veterans Affairs, and Economic and 19
Workforce Development committees, and his sincerity and integrity have 20
distinguished him as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan; and 21
WHEREAS, Darrell Kick has been characterized by his ambition and 22
expertise, and he has earned not only the respect of those with whom 23
he has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens he has so capably 24
represented. As he reflects on his career with the Ohio House of 25
Representatives, he has the satisfaction of knowing that he has 26
established a record of personal and professional excellence that will 27
stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore 28
be it 29
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 30
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 31
commend Darrell Kick as an esteemed Ohio Representative and extend 32
best wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be 33
it further 34
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 35
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Darrell D. Kick. 36
