A RESOLUTION
Honoring Michael J. Skindell
for his exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Michael J. Skindell 2
for his outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of 3
Representatives; and 4
WHEREAS, Mike Skindell is deserving of high praise for his 5
dedicated service to the 13th House District. An able steward to the 6
State of Ohio, he brought a wealth of experience to his post through 7
his endeavors as the former assistant Ohio Attorney General under 8
Attorney General Anthony J. Celebrezze, Jr., a hearing officer for the 9
Ohio Department of Health, and a member of the Lakewood City Council, 10
as well as through his support of such organizations as the Lakewood 11

Chamber of Commerce, the Barton Senior Center and Westerly Senior 12
Apartments, and the Lakewood Jaycees. Indeed, he is a staunch 13
supporter of the well-being of his constituency and has sponsored into 14
law various bills in wide-ranging areas of interest; and 15
WHEREAS, Mike Skindell is an effectual ambassador for communities 16
throughout parts of Cuyahoga County, and he has combined civic concern 17
and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader. In 18
addition, he has been active with the Civil Justice, Finance, and 19
Government Oversight committees, the Joint Committee on Agency Rule 20
Review, and the Finance Subcommittee on Transportation, and his 21
sincerity and integrity have distinguished him as a conscientious and 22
hard-working Ohioan; and 23
WHEREAS, Mike Skindell has been characterized by his ambition and 24
expertise, and he has earned not only the respect of those with whom 25
he has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens he has so capably 26
represented. As he reflects on his career with the Ohio House of 27
Representatives, he has the satisfaction of knowing that he has 28
established a record of personal and professional excellence that will 29
stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore 30
be it 31
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 32
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 33
commend Michael J. Skindell as an esteemed Ohio Representative and 34
extend best wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; 35
and be it further 36
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 37
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Michael J. Skindell. 38
