A RESOLUTION
Honoring Jon Cross
for his exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Jon Cross for his 2
outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives; 3
and 4
WHEREAS, Jon Cross is deserving of high praise for his dedicated 5
service to the 83rd House District. An able steward to the State of 6
Ohio, he brought a wealth of experience to his post through his 7
endeavors as the chief executive officer and economic development 8
director for the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance. Indeed, 9
he is a staunch supporter of the well-being of his constituency and 10
has sponsored into law various bills in wide-ranging areas of 11

interest; and 12
WHEREAS, Jon Cross is an effectual ambassador for communities 13
throughout Hancock, Hardin, and parts of Logan counties, and he has 14
combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to 15
become a dynamic leader. In addition, he was appointed the Assistant 16
Majority Floor Leader and has been active with the Energy and Natural 17
Resources and Rules and Reference committees and the Finance 18
Subcommittee on Higher Education, and his sincerity and integrity have 19
distinguished him as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan; and 20
WHEREAS, Jon Cross has been characterized by his ambition and 21
expertise, and he has earned not only the respect of those with whom 22
he has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens he has so capably 23
represented. As he reflects on his career with the Ohio House of 24
Representatives, he has the satisfaction of knowing that he has 25
established a record of personal and professional excellence that will 26
stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore 27
be it 28
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 29
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 30
commend Jon Cross as an esteemed Ohio Representative and extend best 31
wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be it 32
further 33
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 34
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Jon Cross. 35
