A RESOLUTION
Honoring Elliot Forhan
for his exemplary service to the Ohio House of Representatives.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Elliot Forhan for 2
his outstanding tenure as a member of the Ohio House of 3
Representatives; and 4
WHEREAS, Elliot Forhan is deserving of high praise for his 5
dedicated service to the 21st House District. An able steward to the 6
State of Ohio, he brought a wealth of experience to his post through 7
his endeavors as an attorney, the general counsel of a nonprofit 8
organization, an adviser to the Ohio Public Banking Coalition, and a 9
volunteer for the Cleveland Housing Organizing Project and the Legal 10
Aid Society of Cleveland. Indeed, he is a staunch supporter of the 11

well-being of his constituency and has sponsored into law various 12
bills in wide-ranging areas of interest; and 13
WHEREAS, Elliot Forhan is an effectual ambassador for communities 14
throughout eastern Cuyahoga County, and he has combined civic concern 15
and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader. 16
His sincerity and integrity have distinguished him as a conscientious 17
and hard-working Ohioan; and 18
WHEREAS, Elliot Forhan has been characterized by his ambition and 19
expertise, and he has earned not only the respect of those with whom 20
he has worked but also the gratitude of the citizens he has so capably 21
represented. As he reflects on his career with the Ohio House of 22
Representatives, he has the satisfaction of knowing that he has 23
established a record of personal and professional excellence that will 24
stand as a hallmark for others in public service to emulate; therefore 25
be it 26
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 28
commend Elliot Forhan as an esteemed Ohio Representative and extend 29
best wishes for happiness and fulfillment in the years to come; and be 30
it further 31
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Elliot Forhan. 33
