                       A RESOLUTION
          Honoring the Madeira High School girls soccer team
                as the 2024 Division V State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Madeira       2
High School girls soccer team on securing the 2024 Division V State      3
Championship; and                                                        4
     WHEREAS, The talented Madeira High School girls soccer team is,     5
indeed, to be heartily commended for decisively earning this year’s      6
Division V State Championship against a tough Chippewa team by a score   7
of 3-0. The squad’s performances throughout the season reflects the      8
outstanding collective effort by a gifted group of athletes, and         9
without exception, the team has devoted countless hours to training      10
and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning. Clearly, this         11
demanding regimen has paid handsome dividends; and                       12
     WHEREAS, The members of the Madeira High School girls soccer team   13
have epitomized the power, poise, and precision that befit true          14
champions. Despite sometimes grueling pressure, they have consistently   15
maintained their composure and morale, exhibiting strength, speed,       16
stamina, and agility in every challenging encounter. Time and again,     17
they have risen to the occasion, amply demonstrating their unflagging    18
determination, and their impressive maturity and finesse have earned     19
them widespread respect, even among their most formidable rivals; and    20
     WHEREAS, By weathering a rigorous schedule and prevailing over a    21
host of adversaries, the members of the Madeira High School girls        22
soccer team have learned much about dedication, self-discipline,         23
leadership, and perseverance. Their first-place finish is a measure of   24
their stalwart commitment to the sport, and their indomitable spirit     25
has made their families, friends, and coach, Dan Brady, incredibly       26

proud; therefore be it                                                     27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     28
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           29
applaud the Madeira High School girls soccer team on its brilliant         30
2024 season and wish its members continued success in all of their         31
future endeavors; and be it further                                        32
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Madeira High           34
School girls soccer team.                                                  35
