A RESOLUTION
Honoring St. Joseph Warren Hospital
on its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to St. Joseph 2
Warren Hospital on the occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and 3
WHEREAS, Dedicated to caring for the health and well-being of the 4
residents of the area, St. Joseph Warren Hospital has successfully 5
incorporated concern and compassion with technology and 6
professionalism to distinguish itself as an exemplary medical 7
facility. Since its founding in 1924, the hospital has expanded to 8
include nearly two hundred beds and a thousand employees, and it has 9
remained staunchly committed to ensuring that the changing health care 10
needs of local citizens are met in the most effective manner possible. 11
This outstanding medical center has achieved a tremendous record of 12
service to the community; and 13
WHEREAS, The fine reputation that St. Joseph Warren Hospital has 14
gained is a credit to the leadership of its president, Charlotte 15
Gardiner, and the dedication of the administrators, staff members, and 16
employees who have given willingly of their time, abilities, and 17
enthusiasm for the public welfare. Through their unwavering commitment 18
to the highest standards of health care, they have helped to ensure 19
that the establishment will continue its tradition of excellence long 20
into the future; and 21
WHEREAS, On the auspicious occasion of its anniversary, St. Joseph 22
Warren Hospital has the unique opportunity to reaffirm its goals and 23
to formulate new policies to meet the challenges of the future. 24
Indeed, it has served as a shining example of responsible medical 25
practice, earning the respect and admiration of many, and this 26

remarkable institution has set the standard to which other medical 27
centers can aspire; therefore be it 28
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 29
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, 30
commend St. Joseph Warren Hospital on its record of achievement and 31
extend best wishes for success in the future; and be it further 32
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to St. Joseph Warren 34
Hospital. 35
