                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Daneé Pinckney
                 as the 2025 Ohio Teacher of the Year.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Daneé Pinckney on         2
being named the 2025 Ohio Teacher of the Year by the Ohio State Board     3
of Education; and                                                         4
     WHEREAS, Selection for this prestigious award is, indeed, an honor   5
of which Daneé Pinckney can be justly proud, for she has been             6
recognized for her outstanding talents and leadership skills and her      7
unwavering dedication to her profession. An English language arts         8
teacher at Twinsburg High School, she has worked diligently to channel    9
the natural energy and curiosity of young people into meaningful          10
inquiry, thereby helping them gain a better understanding of the          11
complex world around them. By presenting lessons in an interesting and    12
comprehensible manner, she has consistently inspired her students to      13
excel; and                                                                14
     WHEREAS, Willingly contributing her time, talent, and seemingly      15
inexhaustible energy to students and teachers alike, Daneé Pinckney       16
has demonstrated the importance of education and the potential of each    17
person to have a positive effect on the quality of life in our            18
society. Her work stands as the hallmark of responsible citizenship;      19
and                                                                       20
     WHEREAS, Due to her exceptional efforts, Daneé Pinckney has helped   21
to guarantee a high level of success for all projects with which she      22
has been involved, and she has earned the respect and esteem of many.     23
We are proud to note that it is through the unsurpassed commitment of     24
conscientious people such as she that the State of Ohio continues to      25
grow and prosper and remains responsive to the needs of its citizens;     26

therefore be it                                                            27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     28
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           29
congratulate Daneé Pinckney as the 2025 Ohio Teacher of the Year and       30
salute her as one of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further             31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Daneé Pinckney.            33
