A RESOLUTION
Honoring Sadie Schultz on winning the 2024 OHSAA 7th 8th
Grade Cross Country Post Season Invitational.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Sadie Schultz as 2
the 2024 OHSAA 7th & 8th Grade Cross Country Post Season Invitational 3
Champion; and 4
WHEREAS, This accomplishment is truly noteworthy, for Sadie 5
Schultz has clearly demonstrated her talent and perseverance, as well 6
as her mental and physical fortitude as a long distance runner. As 7
this year’s OHSAA 7th & 8th Grade Cross Country Post Season 8
Invitational Champion with a time of 11:32.01, she has exemplified all 9
of the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out 10
of the sports world, including courage, determination, and an innate 11
sense of the principles of good sportsmanship; and 12
WHEREAS, In displaying such outstanding prowess as an eighth-grade 13
member of the Fairfield Union Middle School cross country team, Sadie 14
Schultz has earned the appreciation of her fellow athletes and the 15
respect of even her most determined rivals. Competition in athletics 16
has enabled her to learn much about dedication and self-discipline, 17
and we take this opportunity to acknowledge her exemplary record of 18
achievement; and 19
WHEREAS, Long distance running is an event that requires 20
exceptional stamina and natural ability, and Sadie Schultz is to be 21
commended for her commitment to this demanding activity. In attaining 22
her athletic goals, she has consistently exhibited the skill and 23
integrity that are the hallmarks of a true champion; therefore be it 24
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 25

As Introduced
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Sadie 26
Schultz as the 2024 OHSAA 7th & 8th Grade Cross Country Post Season 27
Invitational Champion and extend best wishes for continued success; 28
and be it further 29
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Sadie Schultz. 31
