                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Sadie Schultz
   as a 2024 Individual Middle School State Cross Country Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Sadie Schultz on          2
securing the 2024 Individual Middle School State Cross Country            3
Championship; and                                                         4
     WHEREAS, An eighth-grade student at Rushville Middle School, Sadie   5
Schultz is deserving of admiration, for her outstanding ability and       6
spirited drive as well as her quickness and tenacity have                 7
distinguished her as a superior athlete. Throughout the 2024 season,      8
she gained the respect and admiration of all those who have witnessed     9
her in action, and she has truly proven herself to be a talented long-    10
distance runner; and                                                      11
     WHEREAS, Few sports embody the spirit of individual accomplishment   12
more than cross country running, and athletes such as Sadie Schultz       13
exemplify the qualities necessary for excellence in any sport,            14
including discipline, agility, conditioning, and focus. A tenacious       15
competitor, she has conscientiously applied herself to the quest for      16
excellence, and in the process, her exceptional prowess has made the      17
Falcons community and her family and friends very proud; and              18
     WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future     19
leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and     20
the rewards of individual effort, athletic competition has become a       21
valuable tool. Through her participation in sports, Sadie Schultz has     22
learned lessons of perseverance, hard work, and fair and honest           23
competition that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to her              24
throughout her lifetime; therefore be it                                  25

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay       27
tribute to Sadie Schultz on her stalwart performance in state              28
competition and offer best wishes for continued success; and be it         29
further                                                                    30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Sadie Schultz.             32
