A RESOLUTION
Honoring Hills and Dales Village
on its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Hills and Dales 2
Village on the occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary; and 3
WHEREAS, This is, indeed, an auspicious milestone, and 4
congratulations are certainly in order. Since its establishment in 5
1924, Hills and Dales Village has experienced dramatic growth and 6
change as it has become a beloved part of the Canton area. Without 7
sacrificing a sense of tradition in the name of progress, this 8
community has managed to nurture a fresh perspective and a positive 9
outlook that endear this distinctive place to all who know it well; 10
and 11
WHEREAS, One hundred years after it was established, Hills and 12
Dales Village still radiates vitality, optimism, and a charm all its 13
own, and clearly, all those who have called the subdivision home, past 14
and present, have just cause to celebrate this important occasion. 15
Indeed, they can take pride in the many engaging qualities of their 16
community and look forward to a future filled with promise; and 17
WHEREAS, Every state depends upon such vibrant, durable 18
communities as Hills and Dales Village for its own survival and 19
stability. Although it has known adversity and tribulation, it has 20
also been favored with its share of blessings. In the years to come, 21
Hills and Dales Village is sure to remain an icon of the area and to 22
continue to transform challenges into opportunities; therefore be it 23
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 24
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay 25

tribute to Hills and Dales Village as it observes its One Hundredth 26
Anniversary and offer our best wishes for its perennial good fortune; 27
and be it further 28
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Hills and Dales 30
Village. 31
