                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Olentangy Liberty High School girls lacrosse
              team on placing first at the 2024 OHSAA Division I
              State Championship.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Olentangy        2
Liberty High School girls lacrosse team on securing the 2024 Division     3
I State Championship crown; and                                           4
     WHEREAS, The Olentangy Liberty High School girls lacrosse team has   5
achieved a tremendous feat in winning not only the first championship     6
in program history but also the first girls team sport title in the       7
history of Olentangy Liberty. The Patriots’ strong performance,           8
combined with an adept drive to succeed, has led the squad to this        9
outstanding victory, and the group has earned the appreciation and        10
admiration of many; and                                                   11
     WHEREAS, The accomplishments and development of the Olentangy        12
Liberty High School girls lacrosse team are fine examples of what can     13
be attained by a group of hard-working young people supported by a        14
dedicated coaching staff such as the one led by Tim Bosco. Throughout     15
extensive conditioning and training, the members have developed into      16
dynamic competitors, and they are deserving of acknowledgement; and       17
     WHEREAS, With great admiration, we congratulate the athletes who     18
comprise the Olentangy Liberty High School girls lacrosse team, for       19
they have overcome many formidable opponents and displayed tremendous     20
prowess. Indeed, we are confident that as they meet their future          21
challenges, they will take with them the lessons of comradery,            22
diligence, and discipline; therefore be it                                23
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General     24

Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, heartily pay tribute to     25
the Olentangy Liberty High School girls lacrosse team as the 2024          26
Division I State Champion and praise the strength of this program and      27
its participating athletes; and be it further                              28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Olentangy Liberty High        30
School girls lacrosse team.                                                31
