                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring Fligner’s Market on its Centennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Fligner’s Market on its One         2
Hundredth Anniversary, celebrated June 22, 2024; and                      3
     WHEREAS, Over the years, the management and staff of Fligner’s       4
Market have consistently demonstrated exemplary professionalism and       5
expertise, as well as an unwavering commitment to maintaining the         6
highest industry standards. The tremendous effort and initiative          7
displayed by the employees have been instrumental in the success of       8
the venture, and the dedication of four generations of the Fligner        9
family is certainly worthy of acknowledgement; and                        10
     WHEREAS, It is not surprising that Fligner’s Market has achieved     11
renown, for it has not only striven to provide customers with the best    12
shopping experience possible, but it has also been an active part of      13
the Lorain community, providing jobs, assisting people in need, and       14
supporting local Coast Guard stations. Indeed, it exemplifies the         15
American entrepreneurial spirit and sets the benchmark to which other     16
such enterprises can aspire; and                                          17
     WHEREAS, Ohio’s economic well-being depends on innovative business   18
entrepreneurs to provide goods and services to the citizens of our        19
state. We are proud to note that it is through the diligence of           20
individuals such as all those associated with Fligner’s Market, who       21
are willing to invest in the future of their community, that the State    22
of Ohio remains a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore     23
be it                                                                     24
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    25
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Fligner’s          26

Market on the occasion of its Centennial and offer best wishes for            27
ongoing success; and be it further                                            28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                   29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Fligner’s Market.                    30
