                       A RESOLUTION
   Honoring the Marion Local High School boys track and field team
         on winning the 2024 Division III State Championship.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize the Marion Local       2
High School boys track and field team as the 2024 Division III State     3
Champion; and                                                            4
     WHEREAS, The members of the Marion Local High School boys track     5
and field team are exemplary athletes, and they have shown themselves    6
to be truly exceptional competitors throughout the 2024 season. At       7
this year’s Division III State Meet, the Flyers compiled 51 points to    8
win the State Championship for a second consecutive year, and the        9
unwavering commitment of each participant has earned them the esteem     10
of many. They are certainly deserving of high praise; and                11
     WHEREAS, Coach Kyle Grabowski has demonstrated remarkable energy,   12
enthusiasm, and dedication in guiding the Marion Local High School       13
boys track and field team to victory, and his skill is reflected in      14
the squad’s outstanding accomplishments. Due largely to his tireless     15
efforts, the members have distinguished themselves in all their          16
endeavors, and he has received respect and admiration from all who       17
know him; and                                                            18
     WHEREAS, In an educational system that seeks to teach the future    19
leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and    20
the rewards of individual and group effort, athletic competition has     21
become a valuable tool. By taking part in sports, the members of the     22
Marion Local High School boys track and field team have learned          23
lessons of discipline and perseverance that will help them in all        24
aspects of their lives; therefore be it                                  25

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay       27
tribute to the Marion Local High School boys track and field team as       28
the 2024 Division III State Champion and honor all those who               29
contributed to the success of this fine squad; and be it further           30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Marion Local High      32
School boys track and field team.                                          33
