                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring The Great Lakes Towing Company on its One Hundred
              Twenty-fifth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to commend The Great Lakes Towing Company on the     2
auspicious occasion of its One Hundred Twenty-fifth Anniversary; and     3
     WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting     4
tribute to The Great Lakes Towing Company, for throughout the past one   5
hundred twenty-five years, this fine business has attained a             6
remarkable record of service to the region. Established in 1899 and      7
headquartered in Cleveland, the company has provided transportation,     8
logistics, new construction, fabrication, repair, and linehandling       9
services across the Great Lakes, and it has transformed into a leader    10
in its industry; and                                                     11
     WHEREAS, The success of The Great Lakes Towing Company is a         12
justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on    13
the venture itself but also on its astute management and on its hard-    14
working employees. This respected enterprise has earned the gratitude    15
and appreciation of many satisfied customers due to the vision and       16
initiative of its staff, and it is truly deserving of high praise; and   17
     WHEREAS, The Great Lakes Towing Company has built its stalwart      18
reputation job by job, boat by boat, barge by barge, and tow by tow,     19
and it has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area.     20
We are certain that as this worthy establishment maintains its           21
unwavering dedication to service and achievement, it will continue to    22
prosper and will uphold the tradition of excellence that has long been   23
its hallmark; therefore be it                                            24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    25

Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate The Great      26
Lakes Towing Company on its One Hundred Twenty-fifth Anniversary and       27
extend best wishes for the future; and be it further                       28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                29
authenticated copy of this Resolution to The Great Lakes Towing            30
