                        A RESOLUTION
                           Honoring Lexi Tucci
        as a 2024 Division III State Track and Field Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th      1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud Lexi Tucci on securing      2
the 2024 Division III State Track and Field Championship title in the       3
high jump; and                                                              4
     WHEREAS, This accomplishment is truly noteworthy, for Lexi Tucci       5
has clearly demonstrated her talent and perseverance, as well as her        6
mental and physical fortitude as an athlete. At this year’s Division        7
III State Track and Field meet, she placed first in the high jump with      8
a leap of 5 feet, 6 inches and second in the long jump with a leap of       9
18 feet, 7.75 inches, and she has exemplified all of the                    10
characteristics that are essential for success, including courage,          11
determination, and an innate sense of the principles of good                12
sportsmanship; and                                                          13
     WHEREAS, In displaying such exceptional prowess as a senior member     14
of the Sandy Valley High School girls track and field team, Lexi Tucci      15
has earned the appreciation of her fellow athletes, the devotion of         16
countless fans, and the respect of even her most determined rivals.         17
Competition in athletics has enabled her to learn much about                18
dedication and self-discipline, and we take this opportunity to             19
acknowledge her outstanding record of achievement; and                      20
     WHEREAS, Track and field events require exceptional physical           21
talent and natural ability, and Lexi Tucci is to be commended for her       22
commitment to this demanding sport. In attaining her athletic goals,        23
she has consistently exhibited the skill and integrity that are the         24
hallmarks of a true champion, and she has a set a fine example for the      25
next generation of athletes at Sandy Valley High School; therefore be       26

     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     28
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           29
congratulate Lexi Tucci on her tremendous performance at the 2024          30
Division III State Track and Field Meet and look to her future with        31
optimism; and be it further                                                32
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Lexi Tucci.                34
