                       A RESOLUTION
              Honoring Trinity Lutheran Church and School
                       on its Sesquicentennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Trinity Lutheran    2
Church and School on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary; and           3
     WHEREAS, Since its inception in 1874, Trinity Lutheran Church and   4
School has offered its members the pathway to a more meaningful life     5
by illuminating and demonstrating the precepts on which the Lutheran     6
Church was founded. The spirit of love and Christian fellowship that     7
exists among the parishioners, teachers, staff, and students not only    8
prevails within the church and school edifices but also extends beyond   9
those sacred walls to touch the lives of everyone encountered by these   10
devout disciples; and                                                    11
     WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of its pastors, educators,    12
and students, both past and present, Trinity Lutheran Church and         13
School has experienced continual growth and has provided a source of     14
moral guidance and spiritual motivation for adults and youth alike.      15
Over the years, this exemplary institution has enhanced the quality of   16
life within the surrounding area, and through its generous efforts, it   17
has earned the gratitude and respect of the many citizens it has so      18
capably served; and                                                      19
     WHEREAS, An occasion such as this is an important milestone that    20
represents dedication and commitment. For one hundred fifty years, the   21
members of Trinity Lutheran Church and School have kept their faith      22
alive in the Greater Toledo community, and on this special               23
anniversary, the congregation has accepted the challenge of carrying     24
its beliefs into the future; therefore be it                             25

     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           27
commend Trinity Lutheran Church and School on its One Hundred Fiftieth     28
Anniversary and pay tribute to all those joining in the celebration of     29
this joyous event; and be it further                                       30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Trinity Lutheran           32
Church and School.                                                         33
