                       A RESOLUTION
                  Honoring Robert Cash and J.J. Tracy
    on winning the 2024 NCAA Championship in men’s doubles tennis.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Robert Cash and J.J.     2
Tracy as the 2024 National Collegiate Athletic Association Champions     3
in men’s doubles tennis; and                                             4
     WHEREAS, Members of The Ohio State University men’s tennis team,    5
Robert Cash and J.J. Tracy have proven to be a talented and superbly     6
conditioned duo, and they have gained the respect of fans and            7
opponents alike for their spirited and highly motivated performance.     8
Throughout the season, they worked diligently to improve their skills    9
on the court, and as a result, they accomplished their goals,            10
overcoming a tough pair from Florida State University by a score of 5-   11
7, 6-0, 10-6 to bring home this year’s NCAA Championship, their          12
school’s second consecutive men’s doubles crown and third such title     13
since 2012; and                                                          14
     WHEREAS, Known as a driven and determined doubles tennis team,      15
Robert Cash and J.J. Tracy have developed into a remarkably efficient    16
pair whose skill is equaled only by their exemplary display of           17
teamwork. They are a credit not only to their families and their         18
school but also to the superb leadership of their coaches; and           19
     WHEREAS, The road to victory is a difficult one, requiring          20
ability, endurance, and a positive attitude on the part of players and   21
coaches alike. In all of their efforts, Robert Cash and J.J. Tracy       22
have exemplified the characteristics that are essential for success      23
both in and out of competition, including courage, discipline,           24
integrity, and good sportsmanship, and their efforts have earned them    25
the admiration of all those who have witnessed these outstanding         26

athletes in action; therefore be it                                        27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     28
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           29
salute Robert Cash and J.J. Tracy on their 2024 National Collegiate        30
Athletic Association Championship and extend best wishes for the years     31
to come; and be it further                                                 32
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     33
duly authenticated copies of this Resolution to Robert Cash and J.J.       34
Tracy.                                                                     35
