                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Andrew Janson
       as a 2024 Division II State Champion in track and field.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Andrew Janson on    2
his performance at the 2024 Division II State Track and Field Meet;      3
and                                                                      4
     WHEREAS, A junior at Carroll High School, Andrew Janson has         5
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good   6
sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional athlete. A     7
strong competitor, he has worked diligently toward attaining ultimate    8
proficiency in track and field, and as a result, he placed first in      9
the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.61 and helped the 4x800-meter      10
relay team win first place with a time of 7:49.65 at this year’s         11
Division II State Meet; and                                              12
     WHEREAS, Throughout intense training and preparation, Andrew        13
Janson has consistently demonstrated the talent, integrity, and          14
motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion. His unwavering     15
commitment to excellence has earned him the respect and esteem of        16
many, and he is certainly deserving of high praise; and                  17
     WHEREAS, Andrew Janson’s accomplishments and leadership, both in    18
and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an         19
outstanding reflection not only on him but also on his family, his       20
teammates, his coaches, his school, and his community. Indeed, the       21
same maturity and experience he has gained through his participation     22
in track and field will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of     23
the future; therefore be it                                              24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    25

the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
commend Andrew Janson on his personal success and salute him as one of     27
Ohio’s finest young citizens; and be it further                            28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Andrew Janson.             30
