                       A RESOLUTION
                    Honoring Hogenkamp Funeral Home
               on its One Hundred Fiftieth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to    2
Hogenkamp Funeral Home on its Sesquicentennial; and                      3
     WHEREAS, Since its establishment in 1874, Hogenkamp Funeral Home    4
has earned the respect and appreciation of many area residents, and it   5
has set an example to which other such enterprises can aspire. Over      6
the years, it has demonstrated its outstanding commitment to the         7
highest industry standards without sacrificing concern and compassion    8
for the bereaved, and its dedication to the best interests of the        9
customer has been evident in all its transactions; and                   10
     WHEREAS, The success of Hogenkamp Funeral Home can be attributed    11
to the vision and foresight of a host of innovative individuals, and     12
all those who have been involved with its operations are to be           13
applauded on their tremendous efforts. Clearly, this venture             14
convincingly illustrates how very much can be accomplished by a group    15
of conscientious people with clear objectives and firm resolve, and it   16
is through the work of citizens such as these that Ohio continues to     17
be a pleasant place in which to live; and                                18
     WHEREAS, Hogenkamp Funeral Home has witnessed many changes in the   19
industry over the past one hundred fifty years, but it has always        20
maintained its focus on the needs of its customer. Indeed, it has        21
continually displayed the same professionalism and commitment to         22
excellence that have become its hallmark, and we are confident that      23
this exemplary venture will thrive for many more decades to come;        24

As Offered
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay       27
tribute to Hogenkamp Funeral Home on its One Hundred Fiftieth              28
Anniversary and salute it as one of Ohio’s finest businesses; and be       29
it further                                                                 30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Hogenkamp Funeral          32
