                       A RESOLUTION
               Recognizing National Health Center Week,
                          August 4-10, 2024.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize August 4-10, 2024,     2
as National Health Center Week; and                                      3
     WHEREAS, National Health Center Week is a fitting time to           4
acknowledge Ohio’s community health centers, for they have attained a    5
remarkable record of service to our state. Local health offices offer    6
affordable, high quality, and accessible healthcare for medically        7
underserved patients, and these indispensable facilities have            8
displayed exceptional civic concern and dedication in ensuring the       9
continued well-being of countless Ohioans; and                           10
     WHEREAS, The noteworthy success of Ohio’s health centers is         11
attributable largely to the dedication and expertise of their highly     12
qualified and committed healthcare professionals, as well as to the      13
innovation and foresight of their astute management. We are proud to     14
note that it is through the diligent work of conscientious individuals   15
such as these, who actively support and promote neighborhood             16
facilities, that our state remains healthy and thriving; and             17
     WHEREAS, Ohio’s vitality largely depends upon the optimal health    18
and development of all its citizens, and at no time in the past has      19
society been so well-equipped to respond to this challenge. Inspiring    20
trust, confidence, and appreciation, Ohio’s community health centers     21
are a case in point, and clearly, the superb service that has become     22
their trademark is sure to continue for years to come; therefore be it   23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of   24
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,         25

recognize August 4-10, 2024, as National Health Center Week and            26
encourage all citizens to take part in this special observance; and be     27
it further                                                                 28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     29
duly authenticated copies of this Resolution to the news media of          30
Ohio.                                                                      31
