                       A RESOLUTION
              Honoring Ryan Davis on being presented with
         the 2024 Dirk Richwine Professional Mentoring Award.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Ryan Davis on       2
receiving the 2024 Dirk Richwine Professional Mentoring Award from the   3
National Recreation and Park Association; and                            4
     WHEREAS, The Dirk Richwine Professional Mentoring Award is          5
presented by NRPA to an individual for outstanding work in mentoring     6
others to help them flourish and become the next generation of parks     7
and recreation leaders. This prestigious accolade is a fitting tribute   8
to Ryan Davis for his exceptional work as the parks and recreation       9
director for the City of Miamisburg since 2020; and                      10
     WHEREAS, Ryan Davis is truly a remarkable individual, for he has    11
combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to        12
become a dynamic force in the State of Ohio. Through his decisive        13
leadership, he has distinguished himself as a conscientious and hard-    14
working Ohioan, and we are certain that he will continue to              15
demonstrate the same unwavering dedication to service and achievement    16
for which he has become known; and                                       17
     WHEREAS, Willingly giving of his time, energy, and abilities far    18
beyond what was required or expected, Ryan Davis has striven to better   19
the world around him. Through his tremendous contributions, he has       20
earned the respect and esteem of all who know him, and he is, indeed,    21
deserving of high praise; therefore be it                                22
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of   23
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,         24
commend Ryan Davis on his national award and salute him as one of        25

Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further                                  26
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     27
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Ryan Davis.                28
