A RESOLUTION
Honoring Newcomerstown Middle School on its Centennial.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Newcomerstown 2
Middle School on the celebration of its One Hundredth Anniversary, 3
starting September 1, 2024; and 4
WHEREAS, This is an important occasion, and congratulations are 5
certainly in order as Newcomerstown Middle School reaches this 6
milestone. Since first opening in 1924, NMS has earned the esteem of 7
many who have passed through its doors, and it has tirelessly served 8
the community with care and grace; and 9
WHEREAS, Newcomerstown Middle School has gained a stalwart 10
reputation for fostering a consistent, collaborative learning culture 11
that empowers each student for success. Schools are avenues that 12
inspire a stronger society, and this institution has grown thanks to 13
the support and integrity that have been introduced in the classroom, 14
including respect, cooperation, and resolve; and 15
WHEREAS, We look with optimism to a future that thrives as a 16
result of Newcomerstown Middle School, for it has encouraged a diverse 17
academic journey and a meaningful quest for knowledge. Indeed, this 18
superb educational institution has established itself as a treasure to 19
the area by upholding important values and exemplifying a community 20
that is inclusive, compelled, and ready for the years to come; 21
therefore be it 22
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General 23
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Newcomerstown 24
Middle School on its One Hundredth Anniversary and offer best wishes 25
for ongoing achievement; and be it further 26

authenticated copy of this Resolution to Newcomerstown Middle School. 28
