                       A RESOLUTION
          Honoring the Ashland High School boys bowling team
                    as the 2024 National Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th    1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Ashland High     2
School boys bowling team on winning the 2024 U.S. High School Bowling     3
National Championship; and                                                4
     WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young athletes, the members of the    5
Ashland High School boys bowling team have combined talent and spirit     6
with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves     7
as truly exceptional competitors. With admirable dedication, the          8
Arrows have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in    9
their sport, and as a result, they placed first at this year’s U.S.       10
High School Bowling National Championship; and                            11
     WHEREAS, The Arrows’ achievements and leadership are a justifiable   12
source of pride and an excellent reflection on the bowlers, their         13
families, their school, their community, and their coach, James Brown.    14
In leading his team to victory, Coach Brown has not only helped the       15
athletes to develop their talents to the fullest but also instilled in    16
them a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie;    17
and                                                                       18
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role    19
in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay       20
tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coach for a     21
job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have          22
gained through their participation in sports will greatly aid them in     23
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it                     24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of     25

As Offered
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
commend the Ashland High School boys bowling team on its 2024 High         27
School Bowling National Championship title and salute the members and      28
coach as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further                 29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     30
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Ashland High School        31
boys bowling team.                                                         32
